Join Preservation Virginia on June 21, 2026 for Founding Virginians: A 250th Bus Tour. This one-day bus tour will take you from the only original standing home of Patrick Henry, to the home where John Marshall lived for 45 years. Along the way, learn about the founding of the nation through the lens of these two founding fathers, their homes, their families, and those they enslaved.

This event will begin with a guided tour of Patrick Henry’s Scotchtown at 11:00am. Lunch will then be provided. After lunch, hop on the bus to Richmond for guided tours of the John Marshall House and its collection. Expect to arrive back at Scotchtown no later than 4:00pm. Tickets are $75 each and spots are limited!
