It’s an Anniversary Party!

This is a day to focus on Bacon’s Castle in the 20th century when the home was owned by the Warren family and then by Preservation Virginia. Visitors will have the opportunity to view photo displays, newspaper articles, and rarely seen collections objects. Special guests will include those who were part of this history. If you have photos, newspaper clippings or other memorabilia from the 20th century, we invite you to share it with us. We are also very interested in your stories and invite you to participate in our Oral History Project.

As an expression of thanks to the community, we will offer free admission to Bacon’s Castle for open house tours on this day.

The event will be followed at 4:30 p.m. by a pot luck picnic for present and former staff, volunteers and friends of Bacon’s Castle.
