465 Bacons Castle Trail
Surry, VA 23883

Bacon’s Castle will be transformed from a historic Virginia plantation into the British manor home, Milton Hall in 1943 when it was in use as a training location for French BCRA, British SOE troops and American OSS soldiers in what would be known as Operation Jedburgh.

Visitors will be able to tour the Castle and exterior encampments on the grounds, talk with WWII Special Forces Operatives re-enactors and watch training exercises.

We are excited to share the stories of Surry County residents in World War II, both on the Homefront and the brave soldiers that fought in the war.

The re-enactment is included with general admission.
