Enhance your winter holiday with a visit to the John Marshall House. Join us for our 45-minute “Christmas in Early America” guided tour from November 26 to January 6–the end of Twelfth Night–and see the Chief Justice’s 1790 home decked in period garnish and ornament. Learn about holiday customs of the period and what Christmas meant to not only John Marshall, his family, and guests, but also how holidays impacted the lives of enslaved people in Early America, as well. Themed youth scavenger hunts and coloring sheets will be available to take on tour, and special holiday gifts can be found in the Museum Shop.
Standard admission applies.
All COVID-19 protocols will be followed including wearing face masks and social distancing.
The John Marshall House will be closed December 24-26, December 31, and January 1.
