RVA First Friday at the John Marshall House
Stop by the John Marshall House June 1 for our RVA First Friday open house salon! We're hosting “18th Century Summer in the City” to explore what summer was like in Virginia's capital city during the 18th century. After the tour, games and drinks courtesy of Belle Isle Moonshine will be available in the garden. Click here to register!
What is a salon? A salon is a gathering of people under the roof of an inspiring host, held partly to amuse one another and partly to refine the taste and increase the knowledge of the participants through conversation.
Can't make it this month? Check out our upcoming RVA First Friday open house salons:
- July: "18th Century Summer in the City" returns!
- August and September: We’re diving into the ways President John Adams grappled with issues surrounding freedom of the press, immigration and national security.
