Scotchtown was Patrick Henry’s home when he rode to Richmond to give his “Liberty or Death” speech on March 23rd, 1775.
This weekend’s events include thematic tours, costumed interpreters, costumed Dragoons and more! Bring the whole family for a COVID safe event!
This event is hosted almost entirely outdoors. and may be cancelled due to inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances.
All COVID-19 protocols will be followed including wearing face masks and social distancing.
The event is included with General Admission, which can be purchased when you arrive at Scotchtown.
Schedule of Demonstrations:
10:00am to 11:00 am – Mounted formation riding
11:00am to 12:00pm – Dismounted saber drills
1: 00pm to 2:00pm – Mounted saber practices
2:00pm to 3:00pm – Scouts with riflemen, rifle and pistol shooting demonstrations
