Join in for a Community History Crawl in Commemoration of the Hanover Resolves on July 20th! The Hanover 250th Commission has a full day of Free community events planned! Learn more about Hanover County’s role in the American Revolution!
From 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., step back in time and immerse thyself in the rich tapestry of colonial life. (Church Quarter, 12432 Old Ridge Road)
Join us from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. for a Spinning Bee at our Open House and witness homespun fabric demonstrations that shall surely stir the spirit of independence within thee. (Scotchtown, 16120 Chiswell Lane)
Explore the remnants of a bygone era and discover the untold stories of this sacred site, where voices once raised in protest against tyranny echoed amidst the towering pines. (Historic Polegreen Church, 6411 Heatherwood Drive)
At 7 p.m., gather ’round as we pay homage to our forefathers with a reading of The Hanover Resolves. Let the words of defiance and determination resound through the very halls where history was made. (Historic Hanover Courthouse, 13182 Hanover Courthouse Road)
