Intended to Endure: Marshall and the Court

The John Marshall House and DACOR Bacon House invite you to join in a digital lunch time program, Intended to Endure: Marshall and the Court.

Join us for an intriguing program combining virtual visits to two Federal period historic homes where Chief Justice of the United States John Marshall left a legacy. DACOR and Preservation Virginia invite you to “Intended to Endure: Marshall and the Court.”

Preservation Virginia Director of Museum Operations and Education Jennifer Hurst-Wender will discuss the John Marshall at home in Richmond, and some of the most influential cases in the last years of the Marshall Court.

DACOR Secretary and Chair of Task Force 2025 Angela Dickey will discuss the DACOR Bacon House in Washington, DC, where Marshall and various members of the court lived while the court was in session towards the end of his tenure.
