Enjoy a craft beer this Preservation Month during one of three Pints for Preservation happy hour events taking place in Virginia Beach. Proceeds from each event will go towards the ongoing restoration needs of the old Cape Henry Lighthouse.

Preservation Virginia and the Virginia Beach Historic Preservation Commission are partnering with the following local craft breweries:

May 11: Smartmouth Pilot House

Location: 313 32nd Street, Virginia Beach, VA 23451
Time: 3 p.m. – 6 p.m.

$1 from each craft beer sale during the event will be donated.

May 16: Deadline Brewing Project

Location: 2272 W Great Neck Rd #2268, Virginia Beach, VA 23451
Time: 6 p.m. – 9 p.m.

10% of all craft beer sales during the event will be donated. In addition, Deadline is brewing an Oyster Stout made with the historically famous Lynnhaven oysters that will be sold in May. $1 for each pint sold of this special ale will also be donated to the lighthouse.

May 23: Back Bay’s Farmhouse Brewery

Location: 1805 Kempsville Rd, Virginia Beach, VA 23464
Time: 4 p.m. – 7 p.m.

10% of all beer sales during the event will be donated. Farmhouse is also brewing a special ale that will be sold all month long.
