Quilling, sometimes called “paper filigree,” was invented in the Renaissance and continued to be a popular decorative technique in colonial America. It is an art-form that once used a quill pen to roll and shape strips of paper, which were then glued together to form a decorative design. During this program, you will learn the basic techniques of quilling and create your own small, quilled card to take home.
Regular admission costs apply. Preservation Virginia members are free.
