Father of the Supreme Court, Chief Justice John Marshall, enjoyed barbecue, lawn games and the Constitution, and this fall in recognition of his 268th birthday we invite you to celebrate in similar fashion. Join Preservation Virginia’s John Marshall House in our inaugural event Sweet Justice: BBQ & Brews on Thursday, September 14th from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. This outdoor event will feature catered local barbecue from Ronnie’s BBQ and brew options from Triple Crossing Beer and Bryant’s Cider, as well as period lawn games including Chief Justice Marshall’s favorite game of quoits and highlights tours of his 1790 home. Your ticket purchase includes admission, a plate of barbecue with two sides and two drink tickets. Non-alcoholic and vegetarian meal options available. This event is 21+ and advanced registration is strongly encouraged. See you in Court End!
