The mission of Preservation Virginia is to preserve, promote and serve as an advocate for the state’s irreplaceable historic places for cultural, economic and educational benefits of everyone. Historic preservation and the restoration and rehabilitation of historic structures often require the expertise of multiple professionals and skilled artisans from many disciplines. While an exhaustive inventory of service providers, vendors, exhibitors, and craftsmen is impractical, there are online resources to help narrow the search for those who can help advance your preservation projects.
With experience at many historic sites across the Commonwealth, Preservation Virginia is also equipped to offer advice and guidance on specific restoration topics. If you have exhausted the resources linked above and still have specific inquiries about appropriate materials, methods, or preservation approaches, please contact our Director of Preservation Services, Louis Malon, at: firstname.lastname@example.org or our Field Representative, Sonja Ingram at: email@example.com
