Description
Patrick Henry was a member of the Culpepper Minute Men, a militia group established in 1775 to drill in military tactics and train to respond to emergencies “at a minute’s notice”. The company flag with it’s iconic image of “Liberty or Death”, a rattlesnake and “Don’t Tread on Me” are artfully recreated in this flag with coloring from red clay actually sourced from Scotchtown Road at Patrick Henry’s Scotchtown. His home when he wrote and delivered his “Give me liberty or give me death”speech.
