Save the date to join us on April 17th, 2027 as we celebrate spring, shearing of the sheep, and fiber production at Scotchtown’s 6th Annual Fiber Festival! Bring your family out to Scotchtown in Hanover, Virginia for historical demos, local vendors, museum walk throughs, sheep shearing, and fiber production methods from 10am to 4pm on Saturday April 17th!

Sheep shearers from Delly’s Delights Farms will be in attendance to answer questions about our resident sheep, the process of shearing, and the important role of preparing the fleece for dyeing and spinning. Members from local spinning guilds and non-profits will be on-site demonstrating the process of wool production including carding, spinning, weaving and dyeing.
