Join the local Fire Department to honor the fallen men and women of 9/11 and climb the Cape Henry lighthouse in memorial. Ten tower climbs equals the amount of stairs climbed on that day.

Yellow remembrance roses will be available for purchase on site and will be placed at the base of the lighthouse. A donation will be made to the National Fallen Firefighter Foundation.

Cape Henry Lighthouse is situated on an active military base, Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek-Fort Story. A shuttle system allows visitors to travel from the base security gate to the location of the lighthouse. In order to attend this event, guests over the age of 16 must present a valid REAL ID.
